Wasteland Scarves

For better compatibility with other armors, download Armorsmith Extended by Gambit77
If you don’t, you will have problems with certain armors like Colonial Duster

Cheers to pixelgamer for the video!

This mod gives you the ability to craft a choice of 3 Wasteland Scarves. The scarves have been made by using Alpha on the respective armors so there may be some issues with blood collision, if this bothers you, there isn’t much that can be done with the tools at our disposal at the moment (To my knowledge anyway, feel free to teach me how to correct this though :))

Two of the meshes are not solid either, if you look up from below you will see that the scarf is paper thin, see the image section for an example of what I mean.

I have given you three options for equip slots:
50 – Conflicts with Bandannas, if you don’t wear one this is a good option.
51 – Conflicts with armors with full sleaves/gloves such as Kellog’s Outfit. This is the least compatible option.
61 – This is used at the beginning of the game for carrying the baby, should be the best option unless used by another mod.

To use armor that covers forearms slot, like Colonial Duster, Kellog’s Outfit, Grognak’s Costume, Cleanroom Suit etc, equip the slot 50 or 61.

Please understand that due to the limited armor slots and so many armor pieces, I can’t make it compatible with every Armor, armor piece, and accessories. Depending on what mods you use, or even vanilla FO4, there will always be incompatibilities with certain stuff.

YOU CAN STILL WEAR

Underarmor/Clothes (there are still some that conflict)
bandana/surgical mask
gasmask
glasses
hat
left arm piece
right arm piece
left leg piece
right leg piece
chest piece
wedding ring

All depending on what type of Scarf you’re wearing (the 50, 51 or 61 version)

Materials are:

Wasteland Scarf
1 x Adhesive
1 x Steel
5 x Cloth

Wasteland Scarf – Desdemona

Wasteland Scarf – Rags

Aldebaran90 for all her help in making this, bug testing and I’m sure many other things in the future. (Pizza, Pasta, Godzilla =P)

Bugs:
There may be issues with blood collision.

Equip slots can conflict with other things, see above for your best option.

Due to this being an Alpha version of an armor, the mesh for the scarf is not hole, if you look from below the scarf you can see that it is paper thin, there is nothing I can do about this at present, see the screenshot in the image section to see what I mean.

There is a possibility when looking at certain light sources you may notice a haze around your character, this is the invisible componenet of the armor. It’s not very noticeable and you would need to look pretty hard for it.
