Useful Prewar Foods
This mod makes the prewar foods more useful and take up less clutter on pipboy.
Please post if you have ideas on how to make this mod more balanced or if you have any other suggestions.
Note- If you look in the picture, the foods fortify health, etc. I took that out cause I wasn’t sure about the balance of it.
In the “Prewar” section of the cooking workbench/station, you can convert the foods listed below into new items: Main, Side and Drinks. Right now, I only have MOST of the prewar foods (the main ones at least) that can be converted into the dishes. Basically right now, to make the dishes, you lose some healing while removing the radiation. The best thing to do is make the dishes and drinks into a meal.
I’m not sure how much this mod will expand. As I make more items available to convert into the dishes, the more items will be listed in the Prewar section. It is already fairly full, so any suggestions as a better way to go about this mod would be appreciated.
Currently, all the dishes look like Salisbury steak and the drinks look like water.
The Main Dish will heal you 20 points (base heal, the amount will change depending on your person) with no radiation damage and can be created by the following(the following heal around 20-30 points):
Blamco Brand Mac and Cheese
Cram
Salisbury Steak
InstaMash
Pork n’ Beans
Sweet roll
The Side Dish which will heal you 10 points (and you take no radiation damage) (these heal 10-19 points):
Bubblegum
Canned dog food
Dandy Boy Apples
Fancy Lads Snack Cakes
Gum drops
Potato Crisps
Sugar Bombs
Yum Yum Deviled Eggs
Drinks heal you 15 points and can be made from the following:
Bourbon
Beer
Nuka Cola
Purified water
Wine
Whiskey
Vodka
Rum
Meals heal 80 points (no radiation). Can be made from the following combinations:
Main Dish – 1
Side Dish – 2
Drink – 1
OR
Side Dish – 4
Drink 1
OR
Main Dish – 2
Drink – 1
Although this mod should only conflict with mods that change strings (works with Vladacils Item Sorting mod), I do not take responsibility of corrupt games etc. This works with Wastelanders Cookbook
