Sniper Knockdown
This is a tweak of the second rank of the Sniper perk. It adds standalone perks accessible through the console that removes the requirements needed to get the knockdown effect (PERCEPTION 8, LEVEL 13, Sniper (1) Rank). The game’s vanilla chances are 15% for this knockdown to take effect with the Sniper perk.
I, however, am a huge fan of ragdoll physics in game and have provided options with varying chances for those who also get a sick sense of pleasure out of watching digital humanoids collide with their surroundings. Each perk is accessible through the console and labeled respectively with the corresponding chance to knock an enemy down.
Using the console:
help knockdown 4
Use the results to find the perk you’d like and replace the X’s with the corresponding hexadecimal:
player.addperk XXXXXXXX
If you change your mind about the likelihood of knockdown effect, be sure to remove the perk using “player.removeperk XXXXXXXX” as the game will likely still use the higher chance of the perks.
This mod is NOT lore-friendly, however it’s fun as hell. Using it with an enemy on a bridge, stairs, or sloped surface leads to some memorable moments, and tactically will give you the advantage of time to think of your next plan of attack for an advancing enemy.
