Spring in the Commonwealth
– A Performance Friendly Grass Mod –

– Update version 1.8 –
Version 1.8 is now up. In it I have added some ground textures from Skyrim Flora Overhaul, and put them on horizontal grass planes. I also reduced flowers in the textures to make possible for some more pleasant variety in density.

– Description –

This mod is a retexture for grasses, adding small spring time flowers, plus adding more grass thanks to Gorgeous Grasses, by Doodlezoid, and color thanks to A little bit of Green, by Dragonalex155. This means it will have a performance hit in comparison to the vanilla version, but it is a lightweight version of gorgeous grasses, so it will run smoother than the original Gorgeous Grasses mod. I do not have a monster computer, therefore my aim with my mods is to have them running without big performance losses.

In my save game, it is spring time, and I thought that now that we have some green going on in the commonwealth, we also need some flowers. In this mod I have added some spring time flowers. They are small and therefore doesn’t completely cover the screen although they are very common. The white and blue ones are spring time flowers. I have no idea what the pink flower is (let’s be honset here) but I thought that it looked good together.

I recommend that you run this mod together with A little bit of Green if you want all that extra green stuff. This mod only covers the grass. If you use a little bit of green, make sure to install this mod after that one and choose to replace the files from a little bit of green with the files from this mod.

– Updates –

I plan to make update to this mod. I try to work on it as much as I have time to. In the nearest future I will try to improve normal maps a bit more, making them define details a bit better. Otherwise, I will perhaps add or change some flowers to texture that I find looks better on a plane surface.
