Skinripper’s Books
This small mod (a work in progress) will allow you to identify settlers that have been assigned a task, job or bed. Open up their inventory and give them a note that pertains to the assignment you have given them.
There is a note for: Farmers, Guard Duty, Caravans, and assigned Beds, at this time. So far, these are the only assignments I have found. If I am missing some please let me know and I will create more.
Place the SkinripperBooks.esp in the data folder D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4 (for me), then open up the mod manager to see what your load order is, (05) for me, then write down the “FormId” from the SkinripperBook.txt file included in the archive. Run the game, go into console with the ~ and type ” player.additem xx00080X 5 “, replace the XX with the load order ((05) for me, just make sure to use YOUR load order). The final X in the FormId is the one for the note you want. The trailing number is for the quantity you want.
Until the GECK comes out, this is my solution to keep somewhat of a track of your settlers.
