Shirtless Outfits
Mod Description:
Creates new in game items for a Shirtless outfit with either Jeans, Jeans and a Lettermans Jacket, or Denim Coveralls.
This mod does not replace in-game outfits, but you can chose to replace the outfits of a few NPC’s if so desired.
Update 2.1:
Wow, just… wow. So apparently I did not set a first person model for the OpenChest item (the item that gives you a bare chest) in version 2.0, this caused a flesh colored object to appear in the center of the screen when in first person, AND crouched, this also appeared when crouched and going into the pip-boy. This has now been corrected, all outfits tested to allow crouching in first person. If you are one of the 7 people who downloaded version 2.0, please download version 2.1 and accept my sincerest apologies. No files changed with this version from 2.0 other than the esp files.
Update 2.0:
Now supports CBBE as an option.
Re-arranged armor items, and textures to allow NPC’s with Dirty or Ghoul body types to wear this armor.
Armor slots changed for the reason specified above, see slots section below for more details. Aparantly skin changes only work for certain slots.
Textures now override the default nude texture, so are not automatically downloaded into the Data folder, see Options section below for more details.
Armor items now added into a few leveled lists in the Replacer Version ONLY, as this may cause in-compatibility with other mods, see Leveled Lists below for mor details.
Update 1.1:
Added the Jacket mesh file to the download, sorry this was inadvertently left out the first time.
Modified the armors to use a ground mesh that is closer to the appearance of the worn item, this will make it so when dropping the items or modifying them at a armor workbench they will not appear as a vault-suit, this could not be done with the Shirtless With Jeans item, so that will still appear as a vault-suit.
In-Game:
These items are not placed anywhere in the game world (with the exception of on some NPC’s if you choose that option) so Console commands will be needed to get these items. All items have the term Shirtless in their name so you can use the console command:
Help Shirtless 4
To see all of the item codes. The following are the item codes with their load order as xx:
xx000801 Shirtless With Jeans- A pair of jeans with no shirt.
xx000803 Shirtless Lettermans’ Jacket- Same as above with a Lettermans’ Jacket.
xx000804 Shirtless Coveralls- Coveralls with the shirt removed, full tool belt and goggles.
xx000805 Shirtless Coveralls No Tools- Coveralls with the shirt removed, no tools or pockets on the tool-belt, no goggles around the neck.
Installation:
Unzip the Data Folder in the ShirtlessOutfits.zip file into your Fallout 4 installation folder, usually located at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Fallout 4
This folder location may vary depending on your installation. If you have the Modular Jackets mod by me, you will be asked to overwrite two files, these files are identical between the two mods, so they can be overwritten, or ignored, either option will produce the same results.
Options:
This mod has the option of using EVB (Enhanced Vanilla Bodies) or CBBE for the shirtless outfits, this mod does not provide all of the textures needed for EVB, or CBBE, to get those please download and install from the Body Replacers section below. This is only required if using the EVB, or CBBE textures or meshes.
You can choose to override the outfits of the NPC’s in the NPC’s List below by using the default .esp file in the zip file, or you can choose NOT to override these outfits.
This mod comes with the Overridden outfits enabled. To prevent the outfit override, go to your Data folder and rename the Shirtless.esp to
ShirtlessOV.esp (or delete shirtless.esp if you do not want to keep the option to go back), and rename the ShirtlessNR.esp to Shirtless.esp. Only
enable Shirtless.esp in your plugins.txt file.
You can choose to use vanilla meshes, CBBE meshes, or EVB meshes. CBBE and vanilla meshes will allow females to fit in their tops, whereas EVB will cause the nipples to stick out of most tops. EVB for males will also get rid of the waistband (mesh not texture) right above the pant line.
This mod comes with the vanilla meshes enabled, to enable the EVB meshes instead, go into your Data\Meshes\Clothes\Shirtless folder.
For Males, rename the OpenChestM.nif to OpenChestMV.nif (or delete OpenChestM.nif if you do not want the option of going back later), then
rename OpenChestMEVB.nif file to OpenChestM.nif
For EVB Females, rename the OpenChestF.nif to OpenChestFV.nif (or delete OpenChestF.nif if you do not want the option of going back later),
then rename OpenChestFEVB.nif file to OpenChestF.nif
For CBBE Females, rename the OpenChestF.nif to OpenChestFV.nif (or delete OpenChestF.nif if you do not want the option of going back later),
then rename OpenChestFCBBE.nif file to OpenChestF.nif
You can choose to use the vanilla textures, which will cause the females to have a bra on, and the males to have the waistband of their underwear show, or use the CBBE or EVB textures for a fully topless version.
This mod comes without any textures enabled, as the only way to get this mod to work with Dirty and Ghoul skin types, I had to add an alpha channel
to the default Nude textures. Please backup your files before continuing for mod removal, or changing to a different option later. See Altered Files
below for a complete list of files to back up.
For Vanilla textures, open the ShirtlessOutfits.zip file and navigate to the TextureFiles\Vanilla folder, then extract the Textures folder directly to
your Data folder. You may not be asked to overwrite anything if you have not downloaded anything that mods the files listed below, otherwise,
please overwrite the files.
For EVB textures, open the ShirtlessOutfits.zip file and navigate to the TextureFiles\EVB folder, then extract the Textures folder directly to your
Data folder. Overwrite the files when prompted.
For CBBE textures, this one is a little bit trickier, there are no female textures altered by this mod for CBBE, as I could not edit them, so I altered
the Mesh instead, but if you do nothing, then the males will look strange in these outfits, so you will need to choose either Vanilla or EVB male
textures to extract.
To do this, open the ShirtlessOutfits.zip file and navigate to the TextureFiles, then choose either Vanilla or EVB folder, then to
Textures\Actors\Character folder and extract BOTH BaseHumanMale and GhoulMale folders into you Data\Textures\Actors\Character folder
If you have nude textures that have been replaced due to a specific tattoo or something like that in which you want to use, I have also provided the Alpha Channels as a bitmap that you can paste into your favorite dds editor to make them compatible with this mod. Try to use an editor that does not remove the color information to add the alpha channels or your character will be missing parts where the alpha channel is.
Altered Files:
This section assumes that you start in the Fallout4 install folder which can be in a different location based upon your installation, default is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Fallout 4
Data\Textures\Actors\Character\BaseHumanFemale\FemaleBody_d.dds
Data\Textures\Actors\Character\BaseHumanFemale\FemaleBodyDirty_d.dds
Data\Textures\Actors\Character\BaseHumanMale\BaseMaleBody_d.dds
Data\Textures\Actors\Character\BaseHumanMale\BaseMaleBodyDirty_d.dds
Data\Textures\Actors\Character\GhoulFemale\GhoulFemaleBody_d.dds
Data\Textures\Actors\Character\GhoulMale\GhoulMaleBody_d.dds
Body Replacers:
Enhanced Vanilla Bodies by Leito86
Awesome mod, Check it out if you are looking for a male and female anatomically correct replacer that does not alter vanilla armors!
Caliente’s Beautiful Bodies Enhancer -CBBE- by Caliente and Ousnius
Awesome female only body replacer, most popular body replacer on the Nexus.
Additional Body Textures – Ghouls and more for CBBE and EVB by NickCageForever
This Mod has the Ghoul textures I used for the EVB version of this mod, again I did not include ALL of the textures from this mod so you may want to download it as well if using EVB.
NPC’s Changed:
These changes only occur if you do not choose the Non-Replacer option above, and the changes do not effect any NPC’s you have already seen. It is best to use this on a new game save to see the changes on all NPC’s below.
If you want to use this on an existing game-save, you can use the console command “Resurrect 1” on the npc’s to update their inventory, this may cause items to be removed from Sturges if you have added items to his inventory, so do this only after removing anything you gave him.
John the hair stylist in Diamond City would have his shirt, but not his jacket removed.
A few unnamed residents both inside and outside the Dugout Inn will have their shirts, but not their jackets, removed.
Sturges will have his shirt removed, but his coveralls will remain.
Tinker Tom will have his shirt removed, but his coveralls will remain.
Due to altered leveled lists (see below) other random NPC’s such as recruited settlers, and residents to wear the Shirtless With Jeans item.
This is the entire list of NPC’s that I am aware of, some other NPC’s may also be affected, but this mod does not remove the original outfits, so others wearing the default outfits will keep their outfits (like the guy painting the Great Green Wall).
Leveled Lists:
LLI_Vendor_Armor_General – All items in this mod were loaded here, this will cause vendors to sell them randomly.
LL_Clothes_Resident – Shirtless With Jeans outfit added to this list, causing random residents to wear this item.
LL_Clothing_General_Underwear – Shirtless With Jeans outfit added to this list, causing random NPC’s to wear this item.
LL_Clothing_Settler_Underwear – Shirtless With Jeans outfit added to this list, causing random settlers to wear this item
LL_Clothes_Underarmor_Wastelander – Shirtless With Jeans outfit added to this list, causing random NPC’s to wear this item
Armor Slots:
This mod uses slot 40 for the main armor (jeans or coveralls), slot 33 for the topless chest, and slot 37 for the Jacket, you can equip any chest, arm or leg armors on top of it. This mod should be compliant with Armorsmith Extended.
Bugs:
The female version has significant clipping around the waistline, this is caused by the female body mesh being bigger than the waistline of the pants, I cannot correct this as I cannot edit meshes (I just added an alpha channel to it for my edits). This can be overcome by wearing a jacket over the shirtless pants, this only affects the Shirtless With Jeans outfit.
The Male EVB version has a seam at the neck, just like the EVB body, this is caused by using the EVB mesh, and cannot be corrected by me at this time, you can resolve this by using the vanilla mesh, and EVB texture (if you do not want the underwear line), but this also causes a strange textural seam where the underwear line would be. The neck seam is hard to get a screen-shot of it is so slight.
The Female CBBE version has a few clipping issues at the waistline of the jeans outfit, this is less pronounced than the vanilla or EVB version, and a strange lighting “tattoo” in their cleavage.
