Red Rocket Station – slightly expanded and corrected

First, I wanted to shift the whole place and free the road completly, making it easier for trader and caravans to pass down to Sanctuary.

Due to Bethesdas really, really crappy coordinate-system and how they assemble and place areas, I threw this Idea out the window, at least for now.

Like that old saying “if you can’t beat it, integrate it”, I completly took over the road, made the upper corner rectangular and added some space at the back of the Station – the pictures should give an good impression about the original borders and the added space.

If you want to make it easier for traders and caravans, I suggest placing block or walls like I did and you can be sure, it works, cause while I was still placing those blocks, two raiders showed up, wandering up the road within the exact alley I created. 😉

Nice side-effect: If you are placing the walls close to how I did in my example, you’ll be able to integrate the cave and access it, not only block it.

Issues like stated below.

Future plans: Either recentering and adjusting the borders next to the road, or adding a complete new zone outside, at the shore of the river, vis-a-vis Sanctuary, but for now, this b**ch took my motivation away.

ATTENTION:

After a post from a user I had to do some testing, since he had come across the cell reset and I can no longer guarntee that the cell reset won’t happen, since it can.

If made three attempts, trying to make the cell reset happen and yes, it can, even though it only happend to me, when I was coming from a settlement that had the cell reset when entering it.

In my case, it was the Starlight Drive-In, that has NO modifications, it is vanilla, besides the use of “Spring cleaning” and still there had been two Broodmothers, that should not have been there – when I went back to the RedRocket by fast travelling, the PA had resetted

Doing the same by walking to the Starlight Drive-In and then walking back to the RedRocket once made the PA reset, and once it did not, with the only difference being a Minutemen Patrol standing around there one time and the other they weren’t.

So be careful and I suggest you don’t bring your PA to the RedRocket, or at least don’t let it standing around, but place it in a PA Workstation, until I have had time to find out about the dependencies, why the reset is happening one time and the other it doesn’t.
