Rainbow Tinted LD Scopes
Welcome to the wonderful world of LD (Life Detecting) Scopes! (Now with Tints!)
REASONS!!!:
Ever want a scope with a wide sight, such as a Recon Scope, to forget how to be a Recon Scope and instead vibrantly detect life forms?
How about if it is an intelligent life form detecting scope and recognizes the difference between an enemy and an ally and vibrantly highlights/outlines them in different colors from each other?
Now, how about I add to all of that previously listed that you can pick between 9 different colors of tint to go on this scope without having to sacrifice any life detection?
I have added a total of 216 Recon Scopes that are now Life Detecting Scopes in various tints to the game!
I bring to you my twelth weapon related mod (fourteenth mod total), “Rainbow Tinted Life Detecting Scopes” and “Rainbow Tinted Strobing Life Detecting Scopes”!!
AMMO/MODS INFO!!!:
Please note that the Scopes’ Tint itself does NOT stobe or change color, rather you simply pick from the list provided when making them what color you would like.
**There are two .esp files for this mod please only use ONE! Do NOT add both to your load order!**
*The different colors of Tint on your Scope that you can pick from are (of course you can change the tint at anytime by making another one):
*Red (Red 130 Alpha, much lower than this and it is a “Pink Scope” although it already looks fairly rose tinted.)
*Orange (Orange 130 Alpha)
*Yellow (Yellow 130 Alpha)
*Green (Green 130 Alpha)
*Blue (Blue 130 Alpha)
*Violet (Violet 130 Alpha)
*Black (Black 240 Alpha, it is intentionally difficult to see through, but still detects life just fine)*
*White (White 240 Alpha, this one works very well at night, or in dark places)*
*Clear (Black 50 Alpha, suprisingly gives off a very clear crisp vibrant image)*
***The color the Hostiles/Enemies are detected in is a vibrant Red outline (max alpha).***
***The colors of people/animals that are in a neutral or allied position with you are detected in a vibrant Blue Highlight with a vibrant Dark Purple Outline both maxed alpha.***
The Strobing .esp file makes these life forms be detected in the same colors, except it will look like they are at a rave after the DJ just dropped the bass (it really stands out well, no glow sticks included).
DISCLAIMER!!!:
This mod is now by far my largest mod to date with each of the .esp files being over 260kb.
**Initally after crafting one of these scopes and looking through it give it a few seconds to load the life detection, after that though it will happen instantly. It might not take a few seconds on all computers, as my PC has to play it on Medium settings.**
***All of the weapons that normally had a Recon Scope by default in the game I have added my life detecting Scope to in this mod (The regular Recon Scope is still there, as I did not overwrite anything). Even the guns with multiple Recon Scopes (Long and Short) I added two different forms of my Scope to in the game.***
On two different weapons (10mm and 44 Pistols) the Recon Scopes that could be added to those in game were x2 Zoom and I kept that the same for those two pistols in this mod (my life detecting Scopes for those two pistols are x2 Zoom as well). With any weapon that had a Long (x10 Zoom) and a Short (x4 Zoom) Recon Scope in the game I added 18 of my Scopes to that one weapon (9 for Long Zoom one of each color, and 9 for Short Zoom one of each color).
*****If you have a history of seizures or anything similar with blinking lights do NOT use the strobing Scopes, as I mentioned before it does look like they are at a rave (especially the allies or neutrals). Yes, I am covering my ass here, but better safe than seizure.*****
**There were three weapons that normally have Recon Scopes in game that I deemed unworthy to have these scopes and they are:**
**Laser Musket (because winding up to shoot… what is this the Scooty Puff Jr. Laser?)
**Pipe Revolver (because I hate this weapon, or REASONS!! take your pick)
**Pipe Syringer (because I find this weapon, it’s ammo, and the fact that it is still a Pipe Weapon annoying)
The Pipe Bolt Action and the Pipe Gun are still included in this mod, and if enough people complain that their “prescious” Pipe Revolver or Laser Musket or Syringer can’t have these awesome scopes I will make them for other three as well, but I will require at least 5 people saything they want each of these weapons before I will make them. (I will make them for individual weapons, so if 5 people say they want Laser Muskets before 5 say they want the other two, I will go ahead and make them for the Muskets.) This is mostly a test to see how popular these weapons are… FOR SCIENTIFIC REASONS!!
**Currently this mod is NOT compatable with my Lethal Scopes and IronSights mod, I want to guage how popular this mod is and how many people might want compatibiliy with my Lethal Scopes and IronSights mod before I think of making a compatibility patch (it is doable though).**
**This mod and my Lethal Scopes and IronSights mod will still work together though, just be prepaired to see about 30-40 different scopes to pick from if you have both enabled.**
I am still working randomly on various mods for FO4 (one would think that I would actually play FO4, as I have only gotten as far as the fifth quest I think), if anyone has any suggestions either post them or gimme a PM and I will see if it is feasible, and you will go in the credits for the idea if it works.
*I do not know everything, please go easy on me if I do not knowor understand a problem that randomly comes up, although I will try my hardest to get it working for you provided adequate information is provided.*

INSTALATION/ACQUISITION!!!:
These Scopes are a standalone weapon mod, and use an .esp file. This file will go into your Fallout4 -> Data folder. If you have a desktop icon right click it and “Open File Location” then drop it into the Data folder. If you just hit “Play” on Steam then go to Program Files -> Steam -> steamapps -> Common -> Fallout4 -> Data.
I guess various mod managers will automagically recognize the .esp and check it off. I do not use one for FO4 and if you do not either then go here: Users -> (Your Computer Name) -> AppData -> Local -> Fallout4 -> plugins.txt. Add the line without quotes “RainbowTintedLDScopes.esp” OR “StrobingRainbowTintedLDScopes.esp” under the Fallout4.esm in whichever load order you wish.
To acquire these Scopes simply install one of the .esp files correctly then go up to any weapon crafting station in the game, select either the Sights or Scope option, scroll down and pick your color, and craft them on whichever weapon you wish (that is included in this mod).
