Prewar Start With Developed Hangman’s Alley Bazaar Shop

Save starts you directly after character creation, so you can edit it at the end of Vault 111 if you don’t like him. After going through intro and vault 111, you can fast travel to Hangman’s Alley for a safe zone to rest and restock supplies.

Since Hangman’s Alley doesn’t have it’s own cell to “coc” to, I “coc”d to postwar Sanctuary, “tcl”d into the friggin hemisphere (to avoid discovering any other locations), and “player.setav speedmult 1000″d directly over Hangman’s Alley. “Disabled” all the raiders, and “setareacleared [HangmansAlleyIDHere] 1” to use the workbench. Deconstructed everything and rebuilt. Size is doubled compared to what it is when the raiders are there…you can actually move one of the walls further down the alley for more space. Noticed a bug with this though: Any settlers of that settlement won’t use the extra area. It’s like no-mans-land for them. So, the settlers you see there are manually spawned, but have not been officially “moved” to Hangman’s Alley. They will remain there and use that area though so that it doesn’t look abandoned. More than enough food, water, and beds for everyone.

WAIT, I TAKE THAT BACK. I use mods that increase food and water output of the crops and water sources…so if you don’t use something like this, there might not be enough. You can easily fix that though.

Um, um, ummmmmm, oh yeah. All doors to enter Hangman’s Alley are still locked, so no outside raids should be able to enter, and there are turrets to deal with them…not to mention soldiers on the inside…so…you’re covered.

I also added a few crops and water supplies to Sanctuary, as well as 15 beds, so you won’t have to worry about building it up as soon as Preston gets there and his group starts complaining. They’ll be able to hold their own until you decide to build a tower and recruit more settlers.
