Power Armor map fix
Update history:
1.0 – initial release
1.1 – bug fixed (missed to include one file..many thanks mm137 for finding it so fast)
Description:
At last, no more over brighten map on Power armor !
Nothing more to explain, check images.
All I did was tweaked a material effect file. Vanilla was a bit-dark gray one and I made it pure black.
( “FBlack.dds” is a copy of default file “Black.dds”, I didn’t edit original shared file because is being used to other stuff to,like decals etc)
Optional:
I like to have color in pipboy’s interface in general, mostly on map. It’s better, cleaner and feels sharper due to removed FX.
You have to add this (or change to if you already have that line) to your Fallout4Custom.ini (or Fallout4.ini,prefer the custom ini) if you want color on map
[Pipboy] bPipboyDisableFX=1I use this on map images which I recommend !
