Pipboy Medical Unit – Auto-Injects Stimpaks – Not a retexture – New Pipboy models

Equip or unequip the Pipboy from the Apparel menu, or visit DC Surplus to get a new Pipboy with great built in features.

“Pipboy Medical Unit” overwhelmingly compels your left arm to inject a Stimpak (if you have one) when health drops below 50% during combat

“Pipboy Advanced Medical Unit” Auto-injects a Stimpak and slows time when health drops below 70% during combat.
(Balanced well for Survival difficulty’s slow healing rate, acts as temporary hit points and “bullet time” in a fight but will not save you if you’re unprepared).

There seems to be a misconception that the Pipboys will auto-inject Stimpaks like a malfunctioning Mr Handy but that is not the case, it is very intuitive and will not inject Stimpaks if no health can be gained, such as due to radiation damage. The Pipboy features also only work during combat. For example, if you equipped the Medical Pipboy and then stood in a water source and took rad damage, the Pipboy would not do anything and you would eventually die.

If you have any Pipboy feature requests please mention them in the comments.

Switch directly from one Pipboy to another and hotkey (favorite) any Pipboy model from the Apparel menu to easily use this mod without the Companion app – a great suggestion by Onikitsune.

If you accidentally unequip your Pipboy before you hotkey it and without the companion app, use the console command – player.equipitem 21b3b

Also makes the “Dusty” and Vault 81 Pipboys playable but they are currently only available through console commands (or possibly stealing a Vault 81, I don’t know if the Pipboy will appear in the NPC inventory).
