PAPP – Power Armor Poison Prevention
Background
Power Armor: the pinnacle of United States battlefield engineering. Capable of sustaining blows from projectile and energy based weapons, as well as providing resistance to various environmental toxins and radiation.
So why is a fully suited soldier susceptible to poison within Fallout 4?
…I don’t know, but I don’t care for it…
This mod provides a more realistic sense that power armor is a fully sealed exoskeleton that prevents toxins from getting into the soldier. Chemical warfare? No thanks, my helmet filters that junk out. Mutant bugs? Sorry, but you’ll have to break through my power armor plating before those stingers can puncture my skin.
About
This mod adds a perk that gives poison immunity when a full suit of any mix of power armor is worn. I’m still doing compatibility testing and looking for bug reports and feedback.
Installation
I recommend using NMM to install. No muss, no fuss.
Otherwise:
1) Drag and drop all Files & Folders into your Fallout 4 data directory.
2) Enable PA_PoisonPrevention.esp
Compatibility
There should be no compatibility issues with any mod unless it alters keywords or scripts in power armor pieces.
