New Water Pump
Hello all,
I have made several simple esp & retexture mods for myself for Skyrim & FNV, but this is one of first few retex for FO4 & the first file I have ever uploaded here. So if there are any issues, let me know. Have any tips that you would like to share to a new uploader, feel free.
See Ya!
What
This is a simple retexture of the water pump available for settlements.
Why
The way I am currently playing, all I require is the water pump. With the use of Homemaker & other great settlement mods, the Vanilla texture for the water pump is pretty ugly. It’s right there for everyone to see, not out in some ditch, pond, dog pee puddle, or river. Unless you put yours in ditch out of shame. Well shame no more! Show off your magnificent water pump! I think I went to far that time…. 😀
In short, decided to share for anyone else wanting to use the water pump. Enjoy.
NOTE
The texture is a bit bland, but it’s fine for me. That’s all it is. A re color. No normal maps etc were harmed in making this.
I will consider alt colors for those with requests, as long it’s not like, “Can I get Morocco with a hint of Cordovan?” The answer will be NO. ha ha.
Current Colors Available
Red 01
Red 02 50% Saturation Level of The Original Red (Red 01)
Green 01
TIP
As I understand it, any water that exceeds the number of settlers gets placed in the workshop as purified water. I believe it is a quarter of the excess. So I like to increase the water output of the pumps. They look nicer, do not require electricity & are quieter as a result. I also like to have it produce some food.
Here’s How:
Open the console & click on the water pump (If you want to verify that you have clicked on the pump, type getav 332 & it should say something about water 9)
Type setav 332 . Understand that you need to take the sum of water that you would like the pump to produce & subtract the current value from that. EG. If I want it to produce 30 water & by default it produces 9, I type in setav 332 21
You can also add food to the pump if you wish by typing setav 331 . This number is the actual output that you desire. You want 50 food, you type setav 331 50.
Have fun.
