Lethal Scopes

Reasons!!!:
Ever get sick of the Recon Scopes only zooming to x10 maximum? Ever wanted to get more zoom (up to almost microscope levels at max) on your Recon scopes?

Ever wanted precise aiming to snipe directly into the right or left pupil of your worthless enemies from even up to 350+ meters? Or ever wanted to snipe a particular microbe off of a Deathclaw’s back from 350+ meters away?

Or hell, ever wanted to just see the textures in the game extremely up close?

However you choose to use it, Recon Scopes with x15, x25, and x50 magnification zoom are here!

I bring to you my eighth weapon related mod “Lethal Scopes”!

Mod Info!!!:
As mentioned before this mod adds x15, x25, and x50 magnification zooms to Recon Scopes.

All of these Recon Scopes can be crafted at any Weapon Station under the normal “Sights” category for that particular weapon, and each has been balanced with the x50 being the most difficult to acquire.

The current weapons that can have x15, x25, and x50 magnification zoom Recon Scopes are as follows:
.44 Caliber Pistol
10mm Pistol
Assault Rifle
Combat Rifle
Hunting Rifle
Laser Gun (Red Only/Non-Institute)
Pipe Bolt Action
Pipe Gun
Pipe Revolver
Pipe Syringer
Plasma Gun

These Scopes can be added to all variations of these guns even if they were previously modded to change the projectile or ammo of the gun, as long as the weapon still retains it’s integrity as being the in game gun listed.

Disclaimer!!!:
The crafting perk requirements are as follows:
Any x15 Zoom Recon Scope: Gun Nut 4, SCIENCE! 2
Any x25 Zoom Recon Scope: Gun Nut 4, SCIENCE! 3
Any x50 Zoom Recon Scope: Gun Nut 4, SCIENCE! 4

I made each scope more stable, because jerking as much as the x10 Zoom with the x25 or x50 Zoom if you have motion sickness can lead to you having a very bad time.

The base stabilities are as follows:
Any x15 Zoom: -.2 (Normal)
Any x25 Zoom: -.1
Any x50 Zoom: -.05

If you want me to make the x15/x25/x50 Scopes with more guns, let me know which ones and I will add them if they are feasible (please pick only the guns that do not have physics on the projectiles).

I will not be separating the .esp file into separate .esp files for each gun, just make what you want.

**If you have a Rifle Grip on your gun, (the game thinks the gun is a rifle) you will always have perfect stability with the x25 and x50 Scopes, making you even more lethal.**

**If the game thinks your gun is a pistol, gun, or revolver then the zooms with the x25 and x50 Scopes will be more stable but not perfect.**

***Zooming in especially with the x25 or x50 Scopes can be very hardware intensive on your computer because of the extreme magnification, if you notice some slowdown or decreased FPS you might want to try turning down your settings just a bit.***

***Zooming in especially with the x50 Scope can zoom in so close to far away objects that the enemies in the area your looking at might not have loaded yet.***

***As seen through testing using the x25 Scope (sometimes) and the x50 Scope (more often) and sniping enemies from extreme distances, will still get you the EXP, but once the enemy dies the enemy will phase out so you can’t loot them. This does not happen nearly all the time, just occasionally.***

*This is my tenth mod for Fallout 4. While I am getting the hang of this at a very improved rate, I still do not know everything, so please go easy on me if I do not know how to fix or understand an issue that randomly comes up.*

*****As long as you do not use this mod for monetary gain, feel free to use this mod however you please.*****

I am also currently working on more unique weapons/ammo/grenades for this game, but I am open to ideas or suggestions (PM me if you have any).

Installation/Acquisition!!!:
All of these Scopes are standalone and use a rather large .esp file, and are mod attachments for the weapons listed above in the Mod Info section. This .esp file will go into your Fallout4 -> Data folder. If you have a desktop icon right click it and “Open File Location” then drop it into the Data folder. If you just hit “Play” on Steam then go to Program Files -> Steam -> steamapps -> Common -> Fallout4 -> Data.

I guess various mod managers will automagically recognize the .esp and check it off. I do not use one for FO4 and if you do not either then go here: Users -> (Your Computer Name) -> AppData -> Local -> Fallout4 -> plugins.txt. Add the line without quotes “LethalScopes.esp” under the Fallout4.esm in whichever load order you wish.

These Scopes were meant to be built at any Weapon Station, so I will not be providing the codes for the mods, if you want them bad enough but do not have the perks required just use the help console command.

When crafting each Scope the mods are generally listed at the very bottom of the “Sights” Category and will say “(Long) Recon Scope (xNum)” and in parenthesis will list the amount of Zoom that Scope has (Ex: The Hunting Rifle will list “Long Recon Scope (x25)” that will have x25 Zoom, the 10mm Pistol will say “Recon Scope (x50)” that will have x50 zoom).
