Increased Lockpick Reward

INCREASED LOCKPICK REWARD

Do you feel like you should be awarded a lot more for your hard grind to finally pick that Master lock? Do you wish you’d be rewarded some extra XP? Well, now you can have all the XP you’ve ever wanted for cracking that dasturdly lock!

This is just a very simple mod to increase the amount of XP you receieve for cracking Novice, Advanced, Expert, and Master locks. The system does add a small amount ontop of the increased XP you’ll gain from picking a lock, but hey, what’s some extra XP right?!

VANILLA REWARD AMOUNTS:

Novice: 5
Advanced: 10
Expert: 15
Master: 20

MOD REWARD AMOUNTS:

Novice: 10xp
Advanced: 20xp
Expert: 50xp
Master: 100xp

OPTIONAL MOD REWARD AMOUNTS:

Novice: 25xp – 30xp – 35xp – 110xp
Advanced: 50xp – 60xp – 70xp – 220xp
Expert: 125xp – 150xp – 175xp – 550xp
Master: 250xp – 300xp – 350xp – 1100xp

* 150% – 200% – 250% – 1000%*

OPTIONAL PERCENTAGE INCREASE:

150% Increase ontop of base mod reward (150% increase to Novice 10xp, Advanced 20xp, Expert 50xp, and Master 100xp)
200% Increase ontop of base mod reward (200% increase to Novice 10xp, Advanced 20xp, Expert 50xp, and Master 100xp)
250% Increase ontop of base mod reward (250% increase to Novice 10xp, Advanced 20xp, Expert 50xp, and Master 100xp)
1000% Increase ontop of base mod reward (1000% increase to Novice 10xp, Advanced 20xp, Expert 50xp, and Master 100xp)

If you wish to have a higher xp reward, please contact me or leave a comment and specify the percentage you would like me to increase the base mod by.

INSTALLATION

1. Download the .esp either manually from the “FILES” tab or allow NMM to install it for you

2. Place the .esp in the Fallout 4 Data folder located inside “SteamApps/Common/Fallout 4”

3. Make sure mod functionality is enabled or the mod will not work, locate your Fallout4Prefs.ini file which should be located under “Documents/My Games/Fallout 4”

4. Open the .ini and find the section [Launcher], under [Launcher] add the line bEnableFileSelection=1 or change the 0 to a 1 if that line exist already

5. Right click Fallout4Prefs.ini, select properties, and un-tick the box that says “Read-Only”. You can now save the file, if you do not do this step it will not let you save since it is “Read-Only”.
