Immersive Dogemeat Bandana
This is a silly texture I made just for practice. Upscaled to 2048 for more doge detail. It is set up to replace the skull bandana texture. If you’d like to replace a different bandana texture, just change the filename to bandanablue_d.dds, bandanared_d.dds, bandanastarsnstripes_d.dds, bandanastripe_d.dds, etc.
To install:
1. Unzip into your Data directory (maintain folder hierarchy.) If you have other texture mods, it’ll merge the two texture folders (i.e. you don’t have to worry about it.) If you have another skull bandana replacement texture, it’ll overwrite that.
2. Edit your Fallout4.ini file in your Documents\My Games\Fallout4\ directory as follows:
Change “sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\” to “sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, SOUND\, TEXTURES\, MESHES\” etc etc.
To revert back to the vanilla texture:
1. Simply delete textures\armor\doggear\bandanaskull_d.dds from your Data directory.
If you want to be a cheating cheater after you install this and give yourself one in game to see what it looks like, the console command (assuming you’re replacing the skull bandana) is “player.additem 0017e91d 1”
