HunterXHunter and Yu Yu Hakusho Pip Boy Screens
I love the creator’s work on both series, so I wanted to bring some of that to the game without doing a goofy costume or something too out of place. Some of these screens fit surprisingly well, and can be interpreted as characters from an anime in the Fallout universe(These are still not lore-friendly, which is blatant).
I do not claim to have made the art in the images. I found images I thought would suit the pip-boy screen through a simple Google search, which are linked below. These images are meant to be wallpapers, and that’s exactly what they are for the pip-boy so they are not used out of context. All credit goes to the ones who uploaded these images to be used.
To install, simply extract the Data folder to your Fallout 4 folder. I didn’t set it up to install correctly with NMM, so take that into account.
If you haven’t already, make sure your Fallout4.ini in your documents folder has sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, edited to include: TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERFX\. Strings are there by default, but the rest should just be added to the line to cover this mod and all other possible mods. In the same location, make sure Fallout4Prefs.ini has the bottom line saying bEnableFileSelection=1.
