Fallout 3 songs replaced

Long story long – the songs from Fallout 3, the ones that we probably all grew to hate because of hearing them so many times are now replaced by other era appropriate (and lore friendly) songs coming from Bioshock 1 and 2 soundtrack tracklist as well as from Mafia 2’s. And yes, Long Tall Sally is included, so you can finally hop into the vertibird and go for that minigun run with Sally playing in the background. I couldn’t believe Beth actually went ahead and added the same songs from FO3, and didn’t bother adding Sally even though they added the ability to ride Vertibirds and use the mounted minigun. But hey, now you can do that!

Worth mentioning is the fact that when choosing songs I tried to stick to the same author as the original so when Travis introduces the song he’ll be ~more~ ~or~ ~less~ correct, only really getting the title wrong. Also I tried to keep the general mood of the song similar to the one getting replaced so slow songs get replaced with other mellow slow songs, and more energetic ones with energetic ones.

Tracklist
Crazy He Calls Me – replaced with God Bless The Child (both by Billie Holiday)
Easy Living – replaced with Night and Day (both by Billie Holiday)
Bob Crosby’s Happy Times – replaced with Long Tall Sally
BoB Crosby’s Way Back Home – replaced with Bill Merman’s 900 Miles
Anything Goes – replaced with You’re The Top (both by Cole Porter)
Danny Kaye’s Civilization – replaced with The Andrews Sisters’ Strip Polka
Ella Fitzgerald’s Into Each Life – replaced with Varetta Dillard’s Mercy Mr. Percy
Roy Brown’s Butcher Pete Pt. 1 – replaced with Floyd Dixon’s That’ll Get It
Roy Brown’s Might Mighty Man – replaced with Louis Jordan’s That Chick’s Too Young To Fry

I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire – replaced with If I Didn’t Care (both by The Ink Spots)
Maybe – replaced with The Best Things In Life Come Free (both by the Ink Spots)

As mentioned, the mod is very lightweight. Doesn’t affect your save. You can add it, you can delete it, and your save will be intact.

To install:
Edit your Fallout4.ini so that “sResourceDataDirsFinal” line looks like “sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, SOUND\,”
Extract the .zip into your Fallout 4 root directory
