Experimental Retextures – Woodland Camo

BMDD’s Experimental Retextures – Woodland Camo

1. Intro

Long story short, I studied how to retexture things in Fallout 4, and here are the results.

The result is just as I expected. Not Bad. There are still some things that needs to be improved more, but this is enough for me.

I learned a lot from fiddling with textures and modifying them with some graphics tools over and over again
(more than 2 days worth of study with no books to learn or anything).

I might make more, but I’m not sure.

Take a look at the pictures in Pictures Section before you download any of them.

I hope you guys like my Retextures. 😀

2. Description

The main file has Army Fatigues variants, as it is my primary objectives. it contains both Clean and Dirty ones, and one Military Fatigues, which is the one Ronnie Shaw with the Minutemen wears.

The optional file has another Retextures which contains, “Hazmat Suit Retexture, Kellog’s Outfit Retexture, Maccready’s Duster Retexture, Minutemen Variants Retexture.” The reason why they are in the Optional files section is that these were not my original intent but decided to make them and release them as Experimental purpose. 🙂

I think I did pretty great at Hazmat Retexture. 😀

And lastly, in the misc. section, there are some clothes retextures that was existent as a purely experimental purposes, and the camo pattern that i derived and modified from this site:

to install my retextures, pick one you like and put them in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data

or

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data

depending on your system.

3. Tools I used

=> for extracting textures

Photoshopt CS5 (x64)

GIMP 2.8
