Dave’s Vault-Tech Pipboy
MOD DESCRIPTION
This is a quick replacer for the Pipboy screen background. I hadn’t seen anything using a good Vault-Tech logo, and furthermore all the existing backgrounds are generally difficult to look at, and often obscure whats actually on the screen, especially in bright lighting conditions, making your Pipboy too hard to read. So I spent a few minutes in CS6 and came up with this, based on a Bethesda released bit of Vault-Tech propaganda. It’s clean, and toned back, so it won’t get in the way of anything being displayed, doesn’t become washed out in bright light, and won’t clash or blend with whatever color scheme you’ve set through the options menu (I’ve tried it with several). And it’s lore-friendly, because…immersion, or something.
FUTURE PLANS
When I get the time I’ll do a full retexture of the whole Pipboy. For the moment this shouldn’t be out of place on any existing retexture.
