Craftable Fertilizer
A small quality of life improvement for gardeners, grenadiers and chem pushers around the Commonwealth!
Adds a new crafting category at the chemistry workbench: VEGETABLE COMPOST. In this category you will find a recipe to break down all kinds of vegetables/fruits/flowers (including fresh/wild/etc. variants) into a new base item: Compost Heap.
The ratio for compost heap is weight based: heavier vegetables/fruits/flowers yield more compost per unit. Every compost heap unit weighs 0.5 pounds. So, for example, you will need 0.5 pounds of carrots to get one unit of compost. A melon, however, weighs 1.0 pound, so you will get 2 units of compost per melon (Big Compost Heap).
You can use 6 units of Compost Heap and 2 units of Cloth to craft a Bag of Fertilizer, with a new recipe added to the FERTILIZER category of the chemistry workbench. If you have Chemist ranks, you also have access to more efficient recipes.
The most efficient recipe requires Rank 3 in Chemist and 1 Rank in Nuclear Physicist, yielding the new Atomic Fertilizer, which is the equivalent of TWO bags of fertilizer for 1x Cloth, 3x Compost Heap and 1x Nuclear Material.
Compatibility:
-Should have no compatibility issues, as it only creates new assets.

Known Issues:
-The game will create a separate item stack for each separate recipe with the same name. This is because I had to give each one a separate entry in the game’s files, otherwise the crafting menu would glitch out, causing it to highlight the crafting recipe at the bottom after every unit crafted, making spam crafting impossible.

-Tweaked recipes a little bit, so that recipes that formerly gave two products
per crafting, now give a different item worth twice the amount of the
regular version (Big Compost Heap and Atomic Fertilizer).

-Re-balanced recipes, so they are more weight oriented. You will now need more units
of lighter vegetables to make half a pound of compost heap, whereas
heavier ingredients will yield better ratios.

-Fixed selected recipe going to bottom after crafting one unit, making spam
crafting possible. However, this means that there will be one separate
inventory stack of Compost Heap created for each different type of
vegetable/fruit/flower (probably no workaround without the GECK, but is a
really minor issue, anyway).
To-do list:
-Figure out if it’s possible to make vegetables/flower/fruits directly
scrappable without the need of recipes to do so. Would thus eliminate
the middle-man of having to craft Compost Heap, but would also remove
all Exp gains from doing so. (Not possible without the GECK)
-Re-work recipes that give 2x the product so their value is made clearer. (Done)
