Classic Power Armor Rebalance

CLASSIC POWER ARMOR REBALANCE

SUMMARY:
All Power Armor sets have damage and energy resistances reduced by 70%
Durability and model upgrades rebalanced to compete with X-01
All power armor sets are viable at end game
Power Armor is a tier above Ballistic Weave Mk. V
Armor still breaks and fusion cores still drain

OPTIONAL “TRUE CLASSIC” File:
Power armor pieces never break for yourself and companions
Fusion cores never drain, a little more similar to previous titles

Do you feel as if power armor is overpowered and makes the game way too easy, even on Survival difficulty? The purpose of this mod is to rebalance power armor so that its defensive tier is similar to the previous fallout titles. Damage and energy resistances have been dramatically lowered on all power armor sets. Also, durability and model upgrades have been revamped for all sets to compete with X-01. Higher tier armors such as T-60 and X-01 no longer overshadow the other sets. The rebalance is designed to make all forms of power armor viable in all combat situations from early game to late game. Power armor has been reduced by an average of 70% in defenses while still remaining relevant due to its resistances being higher than endgame Ballistic Weave Mk. V gear.

Math on Damage Resistance (DR) for FULL SET end game gear:

Ballistic Weave Mk. V Hat and Clothing + Heavy Combat armor: estimated 330 DR

Vanilla Set Raider II : 620 DR
Modded Set Raider II : 264 DR [59% Reduction]

Vanilla Set T-45f : 1100 DR
Modded Set T-45f : 370 DR [66% Reduction]

Vanilla Set T-51f : 1340 DR
Modded Set T-51f : 385 DR [71% Reduction]

Vanilla Set T-60f : 1580 DR
Modded Set T-60f : 400 DR [75% Reduction]

Vanilla Set X-01 Mk.VI : 1820 DR
Modded Set X-01 Mk.VI : 415 DR [77% Reduction]

The values are similar for energy resistances.
Radiation resistances were left untouched.
