Caelan and Roy – Two characters face presets
You have two characters available, Caelan and Roy Montgomery. Caelan comes in two versions, “clean” or “raider”.
Don’t hesitate to post pictures of them in your game, I want to see what you did with the presets !
Caelan “clean” version :
For Caelan, I wanted a female character that looks both beautiful and competent. This is why she’s sporting a few scars and a short, practical haircut. Want a tomboyish character that looks like she would be able to handle deathclaws, and everything the Commonwealth has to throw at her ? This is it !
The “clean” version is available as a preset (replacer for female preset 12) and a savefile (a bit after coming out of the Vault, so a few quests have already been done). I recommend using the preset.
Mods used on this version :
– The Eyes Of Beauty Fallout Edition
– Valkyr Female Face and Body Textures
– Appealing Moles *
– Lots More Female Hairstyles *
* These last two mods are required if you want to avoid Caelan being bald (a bug might prevent you from changing her haircut) or having bad blemishes. Added as a dependency on file download.
How to Install : Simply drop the .esp file in your Fallout4\Data folder.
If you use the savefile, drop it in your Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves folder.
Because of the latest 1.5 update, the way the game handles the .esp files changed. You need to download the latest Nexus Mod Manager version and enable all your .esp files from there.
Another thing you can do, if you don’t want to use NMM, is go in your C:\Users\(your user name)\AppData\local\Fallout4 folder, and open plugins.txt.
Once in there, add an asterisk (*) before every .esm or .esp in the list. It should look something like this :
# This file is used by Fallout4 to keep track of your downloaded content.
# Please do not modify this file.
*Homemaker.esm
*ArmorKeywords.esm
*ConcealedArmor.esm
*SpringCleaning.esm
*SettlementKeywords.esm
*Armorsmith Extended.esp
*B-90.esp
*m82a.esp
*WestTekTacticalOptics.esp
*Caelan Preset.esp

Caelan “raider” version :
The “raider” version is only available as a preset (replacer for female preset 10). You can install both the clean and raider presets as they replace different ones if you want to compare them in your game. She has the same facial features as “clean” Caelan, I just added some dirt, facepaint and changed her haircut.
You can’t remove the facepaint and the dirt at the beginning of the game, you have to wait until you unlock the surgeon. Only use this if having a raider look from the start doesn’t bother you.
Mod used on this version :
– Raider Overhaul (outfit and armor)
– Toxic Raider Armour (collar)
– Apocalypse Accessories (goggles)
– The Eyes Of Beauty Fallout Edition
– Valkyr Female Face and Body Textures
– Appealing Moles *
– Lots More Female Hairstyles *
* These last two mods are required if you want to avoid Caelan being bald (a bug might prevent you from changing her haircut) or having bad blemishes. Added as a dependency on file download.
How to Install : Simply drop the .esp file in your Fallout4\Data folder. (see Caelan “clean” version decription for further information)
Roy Montgomery :
I created this character because I wanted a guy that looked like a no nonsense officer. An experienced soldier who saw some of the worst battles in the war. For inspiration, think Generals Roy Urquhart and Bernard Montgomery.
Roy is available as a preset (replacer for male preset 12) or a savefile (this is a mid game savefile, the character is lvl 24 and a lot of quest have been completed already). I recommend using the preset.
Mods used for this character :
– The Eyes Of Beauty Fallout Edition
– ERDL Military Fatigues
– BOS Military Cap
None of these are mandatory, feel free to use them if you want the same eyes or uniform. I recommend using R M Real Male for great looking face textures (not shown in the available screenshots).
How to Install : Simply drop the .esp file in your Fallout4\Data folder. (see Caelan “clean” version decription for further information)
If you use the savefile, drop it in your Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves folder.
If you do not want to install the presets but still want to use one of the faces on a new character, you can use Face Ripper to transfer the face you want and start from the beginning.
If after using Face Ripper, you notice unwanted blemishes, scars or others not shown in the screenshots, change the character’s skin color, it should fix the issue.
Hav fun, and please don’t forget to endorse if you like them !
