Build Crafting Stations in Player Home
When I spent a whole 2000 caps on Home Plate, the player home in Diamond City, I was very disappointed with the limited range of things you could build.
After some Googling, I found a workaround which involved using the console command “addkeyword 5A0C8” to add the ‘WorkshopWorkbenchTypeExterior’ keyword to the workbench in Home Plate to basically turn it into an exterior settlement workshop workbench, and allow anything to be built. While I’m sure that would work, it didn’t quite seem the right fix somehow.
It turns out the interior workbench already has a keyword ‘WorkshopWorkbenchTypeCrafting’ (which is also present on the exterior workbenches), so I changed the recipes for the crafting stations to require that keyword instead of ‘WorkshopWorkbenchTypeExterior’, and now you can build them in the home 🙂
There are 4 different options, use only one of them, you can have the crafting station require the same perks as vanilla, or none at all (which will allow you to build them in your other settlements without having the perks as well), and I’ve added the option to build the smaller version of the Power Armor crafting station as well as the normal one.
