Version : BETA

DESCRIPTION
=============================
The mod brings new tracks to the universe of Fallout 4. These are not public domain or royalty-free tracks packed to make a quick mod. They were written with Fallout 4 and its atmosphere, its world in mind. That means that the music added by the mod is designed to fit the artistic codes of the game. TL:DR no trance, dubstep, metal, overly cheesy orchestral tracks, ect…
However, DO NOT assume that these are merely copies of the original OST. While the new tracks fit decently with the original music, I am not Inon Zur, and did not try to replicate his style beat by beat.
The pack currently adds 8 new tracks ( audio previews below ) :
– 4 day exploration tracks
– 2 Boss combat tracks ( with finale ) ( Boss combat tracks are triggered when facing dangerous ennemies )
– 1 Brotherhood track ( when exploring the Prydwen )
– 1 Institute track ( when exploring the Institute )
NOTE : This first version is sadly a replacer, meaning that the new tracks will take the place of some original tracks from the game. Later versions will however NOT be replacers, there will be an update as soon as I can figure out how to actually add tracks to the game’s playlist.

BUGS
=============================
This mod is, on the technical level, the simplest mod one could ever make. That means that it will not cause any bugs that are not already there. The mod will conflict with any mods the replaces the following files :

PLANNED UPDATES
=============================
– Non-replacer version
– More tracks of each type
– Tracks for types not yet covered ( regular combat music, Minutemen and Railroad music, Urban, Glowing Sea and night music, City music, dungeon music, ect… )
– Palette track overhaul. Palette tracks are small pieces of music ( less than a minute ) that are sometimes played during exploration. Fallout 4’s music system relies heavily on those, so I plan to add a ton of them.
Also, and if I can figure out how, I’d like to implement specific music for key moments of various questlines, and for some unique places.
The non replacer version will be available when the GECK comes out, or when I figure out how to add music with Fo4Edit.
