Ammo & Scrounger Redux
First and foremost, this mod attempts to make some sense of Bethesda’s one-size-fits-all approach to the Scrounger perk. Instead of getting a random smattering of ammunition from slain enemies, you will now get appropriate ammo based on the weapon that enemy was using. No more finding 308 ammo on that slain Synth, etc. Extra ammunition found in containers has been left randomized.
Secondly, 10mm, Shotgun Shell, 44mag, 2mm EC, Plasma Cartridge, Fusion Cell, Gamma Cell, and Flamer ammunition types have been added to the scrounger perk. They were missing entirely beforehand. Note that the availability of these ammo types [when scrounged up in containers] are scaled to your level; for example, 2mm EC is rarest and has the highest character level requirement.
Third, ammo loadouts have been reduced by, on average, 50%. This applies to both NPCs and containers.
Recommended alongside Fallout Loot Overhaul (but not required).
