10mm Pistol Standalone Template

Inspired by Standalone NCR Ranger Sequoia .44 Magnum Mods, and Stahl Arms STA-20 awesome 10mm pistol retexture, I thought, wouldn’t it be cool to have a mod that would let you easily turn your favorite retexture into a standalone weapon?

Yes. Yes it would.

Well here it is.

The retexture of your choice will now be available as unique “Advanced Modifications” for your 10mm pistols at any weapons bench. These modifications not only feature the retexture of your choice, but also have small stat buffs that make them slightly better than the vanilla versions.

My mod comes with the 10mm pistol vanilla textures, but you can delete those and replace them with the 10mm pistol textures of your choice.

Some examples, as pictured above, are:

Stahl Arms STA-20
Black Galvanized Vault-Tec
Chrome Shiny
Wasted 10mm
Two-tone

And wouldn’t it be cool if you could unlock the ability to craft these “Advanced Modifications” by finding a perk magazine?

Well…at least I thought it would, so my mod replaces the useless Wasteland Survival Mag at Gorsky’s Cabin with a special edition of Guns and Bullets titled “10mm Advanced Modification Essentials” that grants you the “10mm Advanced Modification Perk” which allows you to craft these weapon mods.

Or if you don’t want that, you can open the console and type Help “10mm” 4 and find the entry 10mm Modification (will be something like XX000888, with the XX being two assigned numbers), then type player.addperk XX000888 (replacing XX with the assigned numbers).

Extract into your Data folder, add the .esp filename to your plugins file, or activate using NMM.

IMPORTANT: ONLY CHANGE THE TEXTURES, DON’T MESS WITH THE MATERIALS OR MESHES…Well, unless you know what you’re doing. 🙂

The textures are located in Data\Textures\Weapons\AMOD10mm\

Delete the current textures and drop in the retextures of your choice, play and enjoy.

VERSION 1.1 now available with bugfix so modifications will now only show up for 10mm pistols.
